While the product is great, this specific version, the translucent one, the plastic base isn't very resistant to drops and easily cracks due to the weight of the pencil. I am very clumsy and drop this a lot, and one day it cracked at the top where the eraser is. the crack loosened the base's grip on the eraser housing and when I flip my pencil to erase, it occasionally sends the eraser housing and all the lead inside the pencil flying. If you're accident prone I recommend the other models that are (most likely) stronger.
I’m not big on writing reviews for things but this mechanical pencil deserves a review. This pencil is amazing, it writes smoothly and the lead never breaks and it honestly is a step up from normal pencils. The price for these pencils is a steal. If you’re not sure, just get the one and if you like it definitely get more!
Besides being a fountain pen "geek" I also gravitate toward mechanical pencils for everyday writing. These have, to me, just the right weight and feel for comfortable and smooth writing. The lead is just perfect. Not too hard to be brittle and yet not too soft so that it smudges and wears too quickly.
Best mechanical I've ever used. So strong, never breaks led. A big plus is there's something about it that makes you write nicer.
